As United Methodists, our forebear, John Wesley taught three simple rules of faith which guide us in this era of ministry in a pandemic.
First: Do No Harm. In order to do our part to slow the spread of the coronavirus, and to keep members of our congregation and staff healthy, our building is closed. The church, however, is NOT closed: we are active and vital.
Second: Do all the good you can. Ministry continues. Our Little Free Pantry is stocked daily to help members of our community who are without kitchens so that they have access to food. We reach out to those within our congregation every week. Daily our staff checks messages left on our answering machine and responds as they are able.
Third: Stay in love with God. We continue to worship! We do so online. Join us on Mill Plain United Methodist Church’s Facebook page at 10 a.m.on Sundays. You can also access that service at any other time or find us on YouTube. Our online worship is growing and expanding and reaching even more people.
We also Love God together on Zoom:
- Bible Study Sunday 3 p.m.;
- Youth Group Wednesday 7:30 p.m.
- K-5th grade Zoom Sunday school every Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
