Mill Plain United Methodist Christian Preschool is a program designed to nurture a love for learning in the young child.
We believe the primary responsibility for the education of children lies with the parents, at the same time we acknowledge the important role of the church. We therefore see the school as an extension of the church and a partner of the home.
We believe a child’s education, like a house, is built upon a foundation (Matthew 7:24; Luke 6:48). We endeavor to integrate Christianity with academics in laying the groundwork for that foundation.
Each child is encouraged to learn at a pace suited to his or her own ability. When children are challenged with high expectations, they respond with enthusiasm to learning.

Our preschool uses the highly regarded Abeka preschool curriculum.

All Classes run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m
Registration Fee $100 first student, $50 second.

Please note, children must be potty trained to attend preschool.
Before the first day of school, our families come together for Meet and Greet.
Children meet their teacher, walk through their classroom, and start to feel at home. It is a gentle first step that helps ease the first day jitters for kids and parents alike.
This is also when families bring in school supplies, so the first real day of class can be all about the kids.
